Research & Development provides the foundation for accurate
and credible audience measurement.
Nielsen Media Research has made $5 million available to a new
R&D
Fund in an effort to make sure the priorities of its clients are
reflected in its spending on methodological research. This R&D
Fund, named The Council for Research Excellence, will conduct research
in cooperation with Nielsen that leads to potential improvements
in methodology.
